Pure Life Academy

First recognizing and confessing that you have an addiction and that it hinders, not only your livelihood and your relationships, but it distracts and prevents true freedom and blessings from God. I struggled for decades with porn and there seemed no way out. A dear friend of mine found this online course and told me about it. It has been an incredible decision and investment. A new journey has begun to freedom and hope.

As young adult, I have learned how to rethink my identity through these podcasts. Thank you to the Be Broken Ministry team for being here today because I don't think I would be on this journey it weren't for you all listening to God. This podcast has showed me that I'm not alone in my struggles, people around me are also not perfect, and that Jesus still loves me throughout it all.

After almost 50 years as a Christian and struggling with a sexual addiction, I thought I would just have to try my best to not fail on a regular basis and live with my struggle for the rest of my life. 40 Days of Purity changed my outlook on my struggle and gave me the hope and belief that I could overcome my sexual addiction. I am looking forward to joining a support group, continuing to learn on how to live a pure life and experience a life that is focused on purity rather that my addiction. Thank you Pure Life Academy and Be Broken Ministries.

It took me more than 40 days to complete, emphasis of "complete". Though I am not complete in my recovery and discovery of who God has planned me to be, I have a new found excitement of who I am becoming, a man of integrity with God and with my wife and with myself. The 40 Days of Purity has been a tremendous journey in this season of life for me in that I have discovered the value, as a man, in journaling my thoughts on a daily basis. I heard this for years and never gave it thought, but JUST DO IT. Also follow the systematic approach that Jonathan and Stephen take on guiding you through the discovery of yourself and God's intended in His Plan of Purity for your life!

I learned so much about me from this course. I never thought I had an “All about me” altitude but I do. It sounds like they were talking directly about me... I have been in counseling and it was never linked about my Shame and my Porn addiction. Thanks to Jonathan and Steve.....

I really enjoyed the course. It is giving me a freedom I need. It gave me a new way of thinking that has been important in fighting the addiction of pornography. It is a good way to start each day to get in a good mindset in the fight for purity. I would recommend this course to anyone struggling with a relationship or pornography.

This course and the tools provided is the one course that actually gives ideas to help in the real world. I never felt like a piece of trash during this study, and came out of it with a renewed sense of energy to continue the good fight. The tools to combat the fleshly desires I have to "look", to peruse a website, or chase an impure thought work and I can claim many victories where I stumbled before. What a blessing this has been and will continue to be.

This was a wonderful tool to focus me in the direction I need to walk daily. To not beat myself up but to accept God's Grace and strive to live as a man of Integrity.
