Instructors

Instructor Dan Martin

Dan Martin is the Ministry Relationship Director for pureHOPE (purehope.net) where he oversees partnerships with both domestic and international leaders, churches and organizations. He frequently speaks on topics addressing Family, Parenting, Marriage, Christian Leadership, God’s Story of Sex, Talking With Your Kids, and Technology.

THE Conversation Instructor Linda Noble

Linda Noble is the Ministries Director at Journey Community Church in La Mesa, California. She graduated from Biola University with a Christian Education Degree and since then has enjoyed employing her gifts as a curriculum writer, mentor, group facilitator, teacher and leadership trainer. After participating in two intensive courses at Theology of the Body Institute, Linda Noble and Linda Stewart formed a non- profit, The Conversation Workshop, and authored the book, Before the Sex Talk: A Theology of the Body Approach for Parents and Mentors.

THE Conversation Instructor Linda Stewart

A Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Linda enjoys integrating Theology of the Body into her therapeutic work with women and couples at the Safe Haven Relationship Center in Carlsbad. This has also allowed Linda and Linda Noble to collaborate further on the development of a Theology of the Body model to provide other therapists a theological and therapeutic conceptualization for the body that integrates the inherent value of the human body into the client’s view of self. Linda is also an adjunct professor, teaching Human Sexuality at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.

Instructor McKenzie Ekman

McKenzie has lived in Oregon her whole life and completed her Bachelor of Science in Children, Youth and Family Studies at Portland State University. She now works for First Image as the director of a program called Reality Project where she gives a presentation about sex and relationships to public schools, private schools, and churches. This program is also a resource for parents. She spends most of her free time adventuring outside in beautiful Oregon, singing, dancing or hanging out with her 5-year-old black lab rescue dog.

Pure Life Academy Instructor John Fort

John Fort, MST, is the Director of Training for Be Broken. He is also the co-founder of the annual Sexual Integrity Leadership Summit.

He has a background in science education at the secondary school level and online corporate training for high-tech corporations. His own sexual brokenness derailed his former career. However, after 30 years of recovery God led John to helping others break free from sexual brokenness and pursue sexual integrity, where he has served in ministry since 2008. John is the author or co-author of over 10 books including Father-Son Accountability: Integrity Through Relationship and Honest Talk: A New Perspective on Talking to Your Kids About Sex.
